New Year

New Year 2010 Wallpapers Greetings (9) by Win Mac Book Pro.

Well, Christmas 2009 is over and done. All the preparations and anxiety that went into it will keep for another year.

I had a wonderful time. All of my family showed up and made the day especially fun and exciting. Santa was good to me. Guess he though I was a nice girl this year. I didn't see when he came down the chimney. He even threw in my favourite gift....underwear. I have a dark secret.... the love of sexy underwear, lol.

We are heading into 2010. I have high hopes for this New Year. I'm looking for financial stability as my number one goal for 2010. I'm a Taurian and we always like to feel secure in every part of our lives.

May 2010, bring you all of your hearts desires. Have a happy and prosperous New Year everyone. Be blessed.

Merry Christmas

courtesy jivanastyle.com/

It's finally here. The day we've been shopping for like mad. The roads were bumper to bumper with traffic. The mall was a mess with last minute shoppers.

It's good to be home. I hope that everyone receives all that their hearts desire. I pray for those who find themselves alone. May they be comforted. May we all have much to eat.

Merry Christmas everyone and a bright and prosperous 2010.

Countdown

Dad's the chef

Countdown to Christmas and we are six days away. I can't wait to hang out with all of my family again. This is what I truly love about Christmas. I feel happy that we've been able to get together especially around this holiday.

I know the turkey is always the centerpiece of the meal. I feel hungry just thinking about it. Food, that's one of the ingredients that we share but love is the utmost. Love is the glue that keeps us together.

Holiday

The Christmas season is on. I've been hearing Christmas music for some time now. Everything seems to stay so traditional though. Year after year we do the same old same old. Why are we so afraid of change?

I'm not saying that we have to throw out the old but be open to some new things. First off, I'd like to hear some Country, R&B and Rock Christmas tunes in the mall for a change.

Second, I know this hullabaloo is really about making money when it should be about doing good for others. How about showing some love for each other by spending time with someone. Bet that would beat having to buy so much presents when the funds are already stretched to the limit.

Let's focus on what is truly important today and every day and not just when a holiday comes around. It all about you and me. It's people that matter.

That being said, our little ones do need one or two presents. After all we've taught them that Santa delivers the presents. Let's not burst their bubble. Life itself already has a way of doing that all on its own.

Winter Blues

I feel a little blue.   The big snow storm that's been pummeling the U.S. reached my neck of the woods today.   It was a beach, to say the least, to shovel all that snow even with a snow blower.   I hear this was only the beginning, because more is on its way tomorrow.

I have to go back to feeling good.   See, no matter what's happening around me, my focus has to be about feeling good.   Whenever I let that go, I feel the tension and anxiety creeping back inside of me.

It's just the thought of the winter months that gets me down sometimes.   The boots, coat, hat, scarf, gloves, long john and sweaters that I wear makes me feel warm, but is so heavy on the body.

When summer comes it brings the freedom of going without all the gear.   Winter seems to shut that down.   On the other hand, it's beautiful to be able to have the winter activities such as snowboarding, skiing, cross country etc. available to me.

When I get back to feeling good, I realize how fortunate I am.   That's all that truly matters.

 I'd like to try this
